Meet the team

Nadya Parveen

Director / Registered Manager

Nadya is a strong and independent woman who started Bluebird Care Burnley & Pendle after losing a loved one a couple of years ago. She lost an important role model in her life, her grandad. He always showed love and independence even till his final days. She was very close to her grandad and was always there when he needed her the most.

Helping people is not something that is learnt it comes naturally, which is why many thoughts and emotions were felt thinking about care professionals and how they look after your loved ones, many questions arise such as will they look after them properly? Will they feed them? Will they be there on time? Will my loved one be able to accept them carrying out the most personal care?

Our approach is quite simple and transparent, we want to be your trusted care provider who you trust and feel safe with. What we want most importantly is for you or your loved ones to receive high quality care when you need it the most. When looking in to care companies Nadya realised very quickly that Bluebird Care had them qualities.

Nadya has a lot of experience working with individuals who are vulnerable or require help and support and is not afraid to go above and beyond for them. Nadya is an ex Police Officer who worked for Lancashire Constabulary, she really enjoyed her role working as a front line officer attending emergency 999 incidents, she thrived within her role. She loves helping people and is always up for a challenge whilst upholding her values and treating everyone with dignity and respect. Whilst working as a police officer Nadya was exposed to many individuals living conditions who were not receiving the right quality of care, it seemed to be that carers were rushing around and its was mainly a flying visit in and a flying visit out with no time or interaction given to the individuals in need. She also learnt about the strains that family members faced emotionally and physically as they were exhausted looking after their loved ones with little support.

Nadya has also worked for a Member of European Parliament as a case worker and worked on Human Rights cases and researched into them whilst looking for possible resolutions and outcomes. This was something that was quite emotionally challenging but was just as rewarding.

A care company is something Nadya holds close to her heart, as she loves interaction with family members and most importantly wants to be able to provide the help and support that is required, and no task is too big for her or her staff.

At Bluebird Care Burnley & Pendle we approach things differently, we put the customer first. Bluebird Care tailors each care package to the individual customer. We are proud of our ability to provide excellent care at a time and in a manner that the customer needs. We work hard to provide the customer with the kind of care they would receive from a member of their own family because we understand the significance of continuity and the value of the customer's choice.

What we want here at Bluebird Care is for families to enjoy time together and for family members not to feel like they are carers all the time but for them to feel like a valued family member, we want to give them the time to enjoy being a family whilst we help in taking off the pressure of providing care if they choose for us to do so. By placing your trust in us we can promise that we will look after your loved ones as though they are our loved ones, we make each visit personal.

In Nadya’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends and going out for meals and exploring new cooking recipes. She also enjoys going on long walks and loves nature. Nadya also volunteers for local charities and raises money to help people who are in need of food and basic necessities.
