End of Life Care

At Bluebird Care Burnley & Pendle, we understand that end of life care can be a very difficult time for both the individual and their loved ones. 1. Personal care: We help with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting to maintain a high level of personal hygiene and comfort.

2. Companionship and emotional support: We understand and appreciate the emotional needs of those nearing the end of their lives. Our caregivers provide companionship and offer emotional support to help individuals feel valued, comforted and safe.

3. Medications and pain management: We work with healthcare professionals to ensure that medication is administered correctly and on time. We also ensure that individuals who experience pain receive the appropriate pain management.

4. Specialist support: We can liaise with specialist palliative care services or hospice care if needed.

5. Respite care for caregivers: Caring for a loved one at the end of their life can be demanding. We offer respite care to support family caregivers who need a break.
