Bluebird Care Bedford’s Memory Walk 2016

Bluebird Care Bedford have put together a team to take part in the Memory Walk at the Priory Country Park, Bedford on the 3rd September 2016 to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Bluebird Care Bedford have put together a team to take part in the Memory Walk at the Priory Country Park, Bedford on the 3^rd September 2016 to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Currently there are 850,000 people in the UK with dementia and this number is set to rise, the Alzheimer’s Society are leading the fight against dementia and aim to support those with dementia as much as possible in leading a normal life. The Alzheimer’s Society have over 3,000 community based services across England, Wales and Northern Ireland offering support and advice to those who need it most. 

There are 31 Memory Walks taking place this autumn across England, Wales and Northern Ireland all with the aim to raise money to create a world without dementia. Everyone can get involved, including children, grandparents and even pets.
