Meet Dennis Reed- Lead coordinator for Bluebird Care

With 20 years of experience within the care sector, Dennis Reed has proven to be a huge asset to the Bluebird Care team.

Dennis joined us in 2022 as a Care Coordinator with 6 years of experience within the role, since then, his responsibilities have grown to include Live-in care support services and helping to orchestrate our customers' personalised care plans.

What is a Lead Coordinator?

As a Lead Coordinator, the role can be extremely varied, from scheduling or completing assessments to reviewing and meeting with our Care Assistants, customers or medical professionals. A Lead Coordinator wears many hats and gets hands-on to give our customers the help they need when they need it.

The ability to pull everything together, gather important information and finding available resources all while reassuring our customers and making them feel safe takes a special kind of person. Luckily for us, Dennis fulfils his role to an extremely high standard making him someone his colleagues and customers can rely on.

I asked Dennis what he enjoys most about his work and why he chose to stay within the care industry for so long. He said he couldn’t imagine doing anything else, even in his free time Dennis likes to volunteer with the Alzheimer's Society. Helping people and making a difference in their lives has always been a passion of his and one which we appreciate and nurture here at Bluebird Care.
