Bluebird Care Exeter Celebrates 5 Year Anniversary Milestone

Local award winning homecare provider celebrate half a decade of delivering outstanding customer care and market leading employee initiatives 

Bluebird Care Exeter, an award winning local homecare provider was proud to recently celebrate its 5 year anniversary and raise a toast to an exciting future.

In 2011, the inspirational husband and wife team William and Sara Flint both gave up Senior Management careers with the NHS to follow and fulfil their combined passion for providing outstanding support to the vulnerable in their community. Over the past 5 years, they have worked hard to build Bluebird Care a reputation across Exeter as an industry leader in the homecare sector. 

William Flint, Director said:
“Sara and I left our NHS jobs in 2011 with much trepidation but a real passion for ensuring that we could deliver the very best Home Care support in our local communities.  We have been amazed by the reaction and the success of the business, and are extremely proud of our staff and grateful for their dedication and service..

we have exciting plans for the future including the expansion of our Live In Care services and some industry leading changes to the way we plan and record our care services.  Our enthusiasm for the industry is growing each year!”
Since it was founded in March 2011, Bluebird Care Exeter has delivered over 250,000 hours of support visits to vulnerable adults who wish to remain living in their own homes.

To commemorate its 5 year anniversary, the home care provider invited Customers and Staff to a lunchtime party on the 31st March. Everyone enjoyed a traditional ‘birthday tea’ including cheese and pineapple, cocktails sausages and of course the obligatory birthday cake! The party included face painting, egg and spoon races, and a ‘Name that 5 Year Old Quiz’ where staff were asked to provide a photo of themselves at 5 years old and everyone had to guess who was who! Bluebird Care Exeter were joined at the party by Mr and Mrs H who have received care and support from the provider for 3 years. Jacqueline Fyall, Registered Manager said “it was lovely to be joined by several of our customers and for them to join in socially with the office and care staff to celebrate our 5 year anniversary”.

As Bluebird Care Exeter looks to the future, it pledges to continue to deliver outstanding care to people living at home across Exeter and to constantly strive to be an employer of choice for everyone looking for a career that really does make a difference to peoples lives.
