Meet the team

Ellen

Registered Care Manager

Ellen joined Bluebird Care 8 years ago as a Care assistant and within that time she has undertaken several roles within the team including Senior Carer, Care Coordinator & Care Supervisor.

She is a great example that if you want to make a difference in people’s lives and develop your skills and career,  Bluebird Care will give the support and opportunities you need to fulfil your goals.

Ellen has been the Care manager since March 2022 and her in depth experience within care as well as her long service at Bluebird care has meant that her team respect and look up to her.

Helen

Deputy Care Manager

Helen has worked at Bluebird Care (Welwyn & Hatfield) for 6 years.

She joined Bluebird care because after 25 years of doing a variety of different customer service focused roles she wanted to find a role which she felt was rewarding and made a significant contribution to others.

Although Helen has recently progressed from Care Supervisor to Deputy Manager, she still carries out her duties of customer care. She is responsible for the smooth transition of our customers from the first meeting to overseeing their care throughout their time with Bluebird care.

Aries

Office Dog

Meet Aries our very own Big Friendly Giant aka Office Dog.

He is definitely a ladies man and loves the attention. He is a Pawfect office member.

You can usually find Aries roaming around the office ensuring we are getting the job done and our high quality service is maintained.

Wooooooooooooooof

Aries said he enjoys being part of the team.

Tracey

Customer Care Supervisor

Tracey has been working for Bluebird care for 5 and a half years. She had never worked in care but the role’s responsibilities came easy to her as she had a lot of experience caring for her mum and son who has autism.

.

For the first 5 years of her time with Bluebird care she was a care assistant and formed some lovely relationships with her customers.

In December 2022 Tracey was promoted to Customer Care Supervisor. She is responsible for the onboarding of new customers and continual monitoring of our customers to ensure that they are well looked after, their needs met and any concerns dealt with. She also ensures that our Carers feel confident in their role and feel supported by management on a day-to-day basis.

Tracey said,

It was a great pleasure to be recognised for the efforts and dedication I put into my work and that management felt I was ready to progress.

Kirsty

Senior Care Coordinator

Kirsty's journey with  Bluebird Care began in 2019, in that time she has been on a number of courses such as Dementia, Epilepsy and Mental Health. The knowledge gained from these courses equipped her to support our customers in a way that was personal to their individual needs.

In 2021 her career progressed to Care Coordinator and Kirsty felt that the skills she took from her time as a care assistant have really helped her in her current role, where her main responsibilities are to ensure that customers get the care they need at the time they need it.

Victoria

Care Coordinator

Victoria (also known as Vicki) joined Bluebird care in  2019 as a Care assistant.

She had no experience of being a care assistant but had looked after her mum and her grandad and felt she would enjoy the role since she felt she could make a real difference in the lives of people that needed the support at home. After training, she was able to hit the ground running and had a huge positive impact on her customers as well as being a great role model to her colleagues.

Vicki over the years has won Carer appreciation voted for by members of staff and customers, she has been a mentor to new carers and was promoted to senior carer in recent years.

In 2023 Vicki was promoted to coordinator, a crucial role to the team, she ensures that customers are allocated carers within their allocated times and ensures to monitor the whole process so that every customer is satisfied at the end of the day.
