Ana Recognised As Live-in Care Assistant Of The Year!

When considering who should receive the award this year, we carefully thought through each member of the team and put together a shortlist out of which Ana was selected for her approach to the support she provides her customer Gus. Ana does an outstanding job supporting Dartford customer Gus and excels in promoting his independence. She has built a very strong relationship with him and the support she provides through this makes a tremendous difference.
We have had a very special week here at Bluebird Care Gravesham & Dartford with a double award being presented by Cllr David Hurley, Mayor of Gravesham.
In addition to our community care service, a growing popular alternative to a care home is our live-in care option. We have a growing team of Live-in Care Assistants who support our live-in care customers and are delighted to have a special award to recognise one person who has stood out in their approach to the role.

Ana received her award at a special afternoon tea held in our Gravesham & Dartford office. The award was presented by Cllr David Hurley as recognition and thanks for her efforts.
In addition to the award, we will be arranging a special activity of Ana's choice so that she can enjoy some rest and relaxation on us!
Live-in Care Manager Liz explained:
We have an excellent team that delivers an excellent quality of support to our customers each day so choosing who should receive this award is particularly difficult.
We based the award on the number of compliments received and general approach of each member of the team and Ana stood out.
Having delivered care on a voluntary basis before working as a professional Care Assistant, Ana's approach is wholly to put her customer first. The support she provides comes from the heart and this shone through in her approach.
