Announcing Our Charity Of The Year

Porchlight, a local homelessness charity that helps homeless people across Kent to get support, has been selected to become our Charity of the Year 2018. Working across Kent and the south east, Porchlight helps vulnerable and isolated people get support with their mental health, housing, education and employment.

The charity provides children, young people and adults with the advice, guidance and skills to live independently in the future, play an active role in their local community and fulfil their potential.
Having been selected, the charity will now benefit from direct fundraising support from over the next 12 months.

Rough sleeping in Kent has now reached an all-time high and there’s an unacceptable shortage of realistic housing options for homeless people and those at risk of becoming so.
Bluebird Care's support will raise much-needed funds that will help us continue to deliver vital services across Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
Porchlight operates across Kent and relies on generous businesses and organisations to support its work with more than 5,000 homeless and vulnerable people each year.Rough sleeping in Kent has now reached an all-time high and there’s an unacceptable shortage of realistic housing options for homeless people and those at risk of becoming so.
