Mental Health Awareness Week is open to everyone. It is all about starting conversations about mental health and the things in our daily lives that can affect it.

Today marks the end of Louise’s time with us after sitting down with our staff and having one-to-one, open and honest conversations about their current state of well-being. Mental Health Awareness week is an important time for employers to reflect on the systems in place for staff, at Bluebird Care we have a 100% open door policy with a priority on mental health and a WPA scheme with 24H access to therapies and other healthcare benefits.

We will continue to promote open conversations and are looking to start a well-being Wednesday with our manager, Kelly Torr, in November. Even though the week may be over we hope to have Louise back again as she has been tremendously helpful as we continue to grow as a company.

Mental Health Awareness Week is open to everyone. It is all about starting conversations about mental health and the things in our daily lives that can affect it. Every year, we want as many people as possible (individuals, communities, and governments) to think about the theme for the week and how it relates to their daily lives and work. This time, the theme is loneliness. It's also a chance to talk about any aspect of mental health that people want to, regardless of the theme.
