Swindon raises money for second time this year for local charity.
In February of 2021 Bluebird Care Swindon customer Lyn M knitted rainbow pins that we sold to our Care Professionals, Customers and in some cases their family too. This raised £65 which we then donated to SNDogs- a local charity looking after dogs in the Swindon area and abroad when needed.
Soon after (keen to keep busy) Lyn began knitting some lovely Easter bunnies. Bluebird Care Swindon provided chocolate eggs for them to sit on top of and again we set about selling them from our office window. This time we managed to raise an amazing £140!
Lauren visited with Claire from SNDogs last week (despite the rain they managed to have a nice catch up) to deliver the donations so that SNDogs can continue the amazing work that they do.
Lyn has asked me to pass on the following message to everybody who supported her knitting..
I'd love to say a massive thank you to all the office staff and carers at Bluebird care Swindon for of your support helping to raise money for SNdogs. Your support really means the world to me as it has helped my mental health so much during this last year. Sending you all lots of love.
