May Carer of the Month

Marcia could not believe that she was receiving an award "just for doing my job" - but she does it so well!

The Carer of the Month for Stroud and Cirencester is Marcia Jagger.  The office staff say about Marcia:
Marcia is a positive role model for new carers.  She sets a good example, and is very patient in showing them how tasks should be carried out.
 
Marcia makes time for people.
 
She always lets the office know of any problems, ensuring issues are dealt with.
 
She is 100% reliable.
 
Marcia puts a lot of hours in and is always willing to help out.
 
Marcia always notices small changes, when a customer isn’t quite themselves, and lets us know so that we can speak to the family.  This often means that we can nip problems in the bud, before an infection takes hold, for example.
 
 
Customers said about Marcia:
Marcia is an absolute gem, and Bluebird Care want to keep
hold of her.
 
Marcia has a wonderful sense of humour and I enjoy her visits.
 
She always notices the little things, like when the bins need emptying, and making sure the bed is made properly.
 
I was very impressed that she had put overshoes on to avoid marking our light carpet. That shows real respect for our home.
 
If Marcia notices something that needs doing, she always tells the office so they can add it to the care plan.
