SCAM Awareness - Working in Partnership to Train our Staff

Our Stamford & Rutland Care Teams received some really important and informative training to help support and protect our customers from doorstep and scam crime as part of Operation REPEAT.

Last week members of our Bluebird Care Stamford & Rutland and Bluebird Care Peterborough & Oundles Care Teams received some really important and informative training to help support and protect our customers from doorstep and scam crime as part of Operation REPEAT.

We were delighted to welcome Reg Burell, Operation REPEAT Director and Dave Toone (Volunteer) to our Stamford office where they kindly delivered training to help us to gain a deeper knoweldge of what to expect from criminals who target the more vulnerable members of the community, and to understand just how our continued actions will make a difference to their safety.   The staff were also given scam awareness booklets for our customers, so we can assist them to put important contacts in the front of it and it also gives top tips to avoid telephone scams.  They can also then use it as a notebook.

Working in partnership with this inititative, our aim is to help prevent crime in our customers homes.
