It gives us great pleasure to announce ‘Employee of the Month’ for December 2023 has been awarded to Lynda Nwodo.

Lynda has been awarded in recognition of her unwavering commitment to her live-in care customer.

Lynda joined Bluebird Care in August 2022. Whilst initially providing Live-in Care for a couple (Mr & Mrs), unfortunately, one of the customers passed away.  This was a situation Lynda had never dealt with before, nevertheless, despite her natural upset, Lynda continued to care for the surviving customer with professionalism, kindness, and compassion.

Lynda made the heartfelt decision to stay in her placement, providing the needed continuity and reassurance for the grieving family. She has worked diligently to help her customer adjust to the loss, establishing new routines and encouraging outings. Lynda and her customer even attended both the Bluebird Care Halloween and Christmas parties together, a significant achievement showcasing their flourishing relationship.
