Bluebird Care (St Helens) proud to announce attending a ceremony for the St Helens Chamber Business Awards

We are overjoyed to share with you the excellent news that we recently received. We entered our company into the St Helens Chamber business awards and are ecstatic to announce that we have been shortlisted to receive an award in not just ONE, but TWO categories. The awards ceremony will take place on the 17th May 2018 and we are really excited by this great news.

Below are the categories we were shortlisted for:

Commitment to developing people
We believe in progression and moving with the times. In order for us to keep up with modern ways we pride ourselves in the development of our staff and business. We have introduced a new recording and monitoring system for our care. This is on the basis of ‘real time information’ which keeps us up to date with any changes to our customer care plans and is immediately available to our care assistants. We have also introduced a new training programme which is individually tailored and we spend time with each member of the team. We believe in investing in our staff and ensure that they are kept up to date with training and current legislation. This in effect helps with the turnover and enables us to provide continuity to our customers.

Apprentice of the year – Hayley Allen ‘Bluebird’s delight’
This category was to nominate an apprentice of the year. To highlight their journey, progression and development. We nominated Hayley Allen – Care Coordinator for this category. Hayley has been described by our customers as ‘Bluebird’s delight’. We feel this says an awful lot about the quality of care that she provides. Hayley joined Bluebird as an apprentice. She excelled as a care assistant and was quickly promoted to a supervisory role. Hayley has grown in strength and knowledge in the health and social sector over the short period she has been with Bluebird.  Hayley has since been promoted and is now currently working as the care coordinator. She has progressed so much with us and we our proud to have her as a member of the team. We look forward to her continuous ongoing journey with Bluebird.
