Bluebird Care North East Lincolnshire, rated ‘Outstanding’ by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), has moved premises to accommodate their recent expansion of the business.

From the 1st of February, the home care provider’s headquarters moved to Hewitt’s Business Park in Grimsby, where they now have a larger office space for their growing team.

Maria Jackson is a Care Assistant at Bluebird Care North East Lincolnshire. Maria is excited about the change of premises, and she can’t wait to see what the future holds, she said:

“The new office is easy to find, there is plenty of parking and the training areas are light and airy. It can be easily accessible to customers should they wish to talk to office staff face to face, and it is a very pleasant environment for care staff to be trained in. I believe the move is a step in the right direction for an expanding first-class business.”

Claire Hoyle, Assistant Manager at Bluebird Care North East Lincolnshire, said:

“I am really proud and excited about the growth of Bluebird Care North East Lincolnshire. I joined four and a half years ago and have seen it grow it so many ways.

“As the business has grown, so has the team. New opportunities and positions have become available, the care we offer has become more diversified and we have been able to offer more complex training to our Care Assistants.

“Most recently, our move to a new, larger office has given the team a huge boost and I feel extremely proud of what everyone is achieving. This last year has been even more challenging than usual with COVID-19 looming over us all. To open a new office in the midst of this fills me with confidence and pride.”

Karl Storr, Manager at Bluebird Care North East Lincolnshire, added:

“I joined Bluebird Care North East Lincolnshire four and a half years ago and I have worked my way up from Care Coordinator to Manager of the office.

“As the business thrives and the team grows, moving into a new office enables more customer engagement activities. It will help us bring people together.

“This last year has been incredibly tough, and for the business to grow at this rate is a huge positive for us all.”
