In July, we launched our Every Visit Counts Campaign to raise awareness of loneliness among older people in Britain, what we do to help combat it and share advice about combating loneliness. We know that the work our Care Assistants do goes further than providing practical support. Care Assistant Sarah explains how she knows that every visit she makes count.

In July, we launched our Every Visit Counts Campaign to raise awareness of loneliness among older people in Britain, what we do to help combat it and share advice about combating loneliness.

We know that the work our Care Assistants do goes further than providing practical support. It also makes a difference to our customers emotional well-being.

Because of this, we know that every visit our valued community team make is important and counts.

We are delighted that our campaign has even been featured in the Daily Express!

Sarah, who is one of our Care Assistants explained that:
Visiting customers in the community makes a big difference because you know that you are helping them remain at home in their own environment.

It gives a sense of achievement as I know that I am helping them to live at home with their independence.

Also, I know that my visits count in particular when my visit puts a smile on customer’s faces!
