Janice Heale Announced as Care Worker of the Year

Janice has recently been announced as the Bluebird Care Care Worker of the year for Maidstone.  The award is a great achievement and creates an opportunity to celebrate and recognize excellence in care. The award was presented by Cllr Derek Butler, Deputy Mayor of Maidstone at a special afternoon tea on 16th March.  Janice was nominated following a survey with customers where she received a large proportion of the compliments.

Janice was nominated following a survey with customers where she received a large proportion of the compliments. In particular, comments included the following:

‘Janice is very patient with me and knows how to deal with me once I have had a seizure. Also she knows me and my daughter come as a package and she helps where needed’

‘My dad has Janice the most and they both get on very well’

‘Janice and I get on very well and she always listens to me’

‘Janice is our regular carer and she is a very nice lady’

‘Janice is very good and is always very reliable’

Janice, who previously worked in accounts, started her career in care with Bluebird Care over two years ago and upon receiving the award, she explained:

‘I am flattered to receive this award for Care Worker of the Year. It makes me feel very proud to do what I do and really shows how much the work I do is appreciated.’

Jade, Care Manager explained that:

‘We have a great team of Care Workers and are very proud of them all. We very much appreciate the hard work and dedication they give to their customers each day. Our Care Worker of the Year award is a great opportunity to show our appreciation for their work.

The feedback we regularly receive from our customers about Janice is always very positive. Janice forms a great relationship with her customers and it is our privilege to be able to recognize her in this way. It was also a great privilege to be joined by Cllr Derek Butler, Deputy Mayor of Maidstone who presented the award.’
