Care Manager Mel's Daughter Donates Hair to Little Princess Trust

We are so incredibly proud to that the incredible generosity of our staff and Care Manager Mel's daughter recently made an incredibly kind gesture!
Mel's daughter Paige recently decided to donate 14 inches of her hair to The Little Princess Trust that provides free real hair wigs to children and young people, up to 24 years, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or other conditions.
Paige was inspired by her mum, Mel who has now been a part of the Bluebird Care Maidstone team for three years, she said:
My mum inspires me to care about people, she has a big heart and is a really caring person.
Mel, Care Manager at Bluebird Care Maidstone, said:
I am so proud of Paige, she came up with this idea all by herself, she is so kind and thoughtful. Donating her hair will allow another young person to receive a free wig through the Little Princess Trust, which might help them feel better and more confident. I am so happy Paige has seen how rewarding caring for others can be, she would make a wonderful carer when she grows up!
