Announcing Our Care Assistant Of The Month

Each month we recognise one member of staff who has stood out in their approach to the role of Care Assistant and we are proud to announce that Kay has been recognised as our Care Assistant of the month for May! Kay received this award in recognition of the outstanding way she approached her role and following one particular incident, where we received a really lovely compliment from the family.

This was an incident where when Kay attended a visit in Maidstone, her customer had fallen and a suspected broken arm. Kay called the ambulance and stayed with the customer, keeping her calm until the ambulance arrived.
This was outside of her usual call time and was very well received by the family.
Care Manager Mel explained:
Kay is a fantastic member of staff and really did us proud in this incident. She remained calm, knew exactly what to do and supported her customer brilliantly.
