Supporting Make May Purple

We are proud to support the Stroke Association as our charity of the year for 2018 and yesterday joined in with people from across the UK as part of their national 'Make May Purple' campaign. In total, we rose £60 to support the incredible work of the Stroke Association (and probably put a few pounds on in the process).
We are proud to support the Stroke Association as our charity of the year for 2018 and yesterday joined in with people from across the UK as part of their national 'Make May Purple' campaign.We held a cake sale with staff and even one customer banking or donating cakes, which were tucked into throughout the day for a small donation.
As the day went on, we visited every office in the building and eventually sold out of all our cakes!
We raised £60 in total to support the incredible work of the Stroke Association (and probably put a few pounds on in the process).
Care Supervisor Hannah said:
It was really lovely seeing our Care Assistants joining in with our fundraising activity and the cakes were truly fantastic! I think that £60 is a great amount to raise for a fantastic cause.
I called our main reception and explained that we only have a few cakes left so either I put on weight or people from across the building can pop in and collect theirs. Well, needless to say, we had a lot of visitors quite shortly after that!
