We are proud to support a number of very worthwhile causes here at Bluebird Care Maidstone and we recently held a Macmillan coffee morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer.
We are proud to support a number of very worthwhile causes here at Bluebird Care Maidstone and we recently held a Macmillan coffee morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer along with raising the profile of the charity.
Macmillan are a team of healthcare professionals who provide a constant source of support, giving people the energy and inspiration to help take back control of their life, and feel more like themselves again.
We invited Care Assistants into the office to enjoy a slice of cake along with making a small donation. A number of staff also took time to bake cakes which were most delightful.
Staff rose a total of £90, which will go towards Macmillan and help make a difference to the lives of those living with cancer.
Operations Manager, Clare, commented:
I am pleased to be able to support events such as the Macmillan coffee morning as it gives us an opportunity to spend time together as a team in addition to supporting a really good cause.
I would like to thank all the staff who took the time to cook and those who donated funds as well as all those who popped in to help us demolish the pile of cakes!
