We have now completed the second of two days of fundraising for our named charity Involve Kent in Maidstone town centre, where we were joined by Care Assistants Chesnie, Fainess and Leah who kindly gave up their time to be with us.

We have now completed the second of two days of fundraising for our named charity Involve Kent in Maidstone town centre, where we were joined by Care Assistants Chesnie, Fainess and Leah who kindly gave up their time to be with us.

We are proud to support local causes that make a big difference in our local community and our bucket collections raised a total of just under £30 along with raising awareness of such a valuable charity.

Although what may be a seemingly small amount, we know that it will help make a difference to the lives of people in Maidstone and we would like to thank those who joined to support.

Involve Kent provide a wide range of voluntary support that includes community transport, befriending and support for carers. We are particularly aware of the difference that they make as we work alongside some of their family members in providing care services.

Care Assistant Chesnie, who joined, explained:

I have never done bucket collections, but previously was involved in raising money for an Ovarian Cancer charity, having done walks at Manor Park Hotel and also a golf event including a raffle.

I think giving back is very important and I am proud to be able to do so again today!
