Carers Family Funday A Great Success!

We recently held our very first family fun day for our staff to enjoy and it was very much enjoyed by those who attended. We wanted to do something a little different this year as a thank you to our incredible team of Care Assistants who support our customers every day so arranged a fun day at a local venue for them to enjoy.

The office was closed for the day and hosted members of our team who joined us on the lawn outside our office.
We were joined by 12 Care Assistants along with family members and children who enjoyed some food and one another’s company.
There was a disco dome themed bouncy castle, sports day type games and those who joined were given a small gift along with a card to say thank you for the valuable and incredible work they do.
Care Assistant, Fainess, who joined at the event commented:
The event was great fun and I had a lovely afternoon. It was wonderful and I enjoyed everything including the barbeque, but particularly the disco dome bouncy castle which was great fun!
Care Manager Jade commented:
We had great fun at our very first family funday and it certainly went down very well. It was good to be able to host members of our team who joined us in their breaks or on their days off.
The particular highlight for me was the disco dome bouncy castle, which we were all looking forward to. It was also positive to have one of our Care Assistants bring her son along who certainly tired us all out!
