We are pleased to say a terrific well done to Amanda who has been awarded our Care Assistant of the month award for May!It is extremely important to recognise the hard work and dedication of our staff throughout their career with us and each month, one member of staff is nominated to receive the award that recognises things such as their commitment, dedication, compliments from customers and much more.
Amanda, who chose to work in care because it is a job where you can make a difference like no other has performed extremely well since she started in her role.
As well as the daily dedication and passion she shows about the support she provides, Amanda needed to perform CPR on one customer recently in what was a challenging situation.
Amanda put her training into practice and did exactly the right thing in a calm manner whilst also supporting the customers son who was present.
In addition, Amanda is extremely helpful and a real credit to Bluebird Care!
Care Manager, Jade, said:
Amanda is an excellent Care Assistant and shows such dedication in her role. She is calm, confident and cheerful whilst also being extremely good at what she does.
She particularly stood out following a fairly traumatic situation where CPR needed to be performed on a customer and she did so in a confident manner whilst supporting the customer's son. Well done Amanda!

I am truly touched by receiving the Care Assistant of the month award. I did not expect it, love what I do and the difference it makes. It truly is a job like no other!
Our Care Assistant of the month award is reviewed the last week of each month and announced in the first week of the following month. Each Care Assistant of the month receives a certificate and vouchers to recognize and thank them for their hard work.
