Quite simply, live-in care is when someone who is  trained to look after you lives in your home with you. The main role of a carer that lives with you is to allow you to be comfortable, safe and  independent in your own home environment.

This means that there is no need to go into a residential home where you may be restricted to times when you have meals, do activities or go out.

With a live-in carer, you control your life, your way.

A live-n carer can assist with

  • Getting you up and dressed
  • Showering and personal support
  • Meal preparation and medication
  • Domestic duties and household chores
  • Trips and out shopping and to the garden centre and to see friends and family

The support our customers receive from their Live-In care assistant can be varied, from supporting with companionship, mobility and day trips out, to personal and continence care and support with medication. Your assistant can cook meals, undertake housekeeping, cleaning, laundry and shopping.

Our Live-in carers are trained to look after the needs of the individual. If you require someone with particular skills or knowledge, we do our best to match up a carer that will get on with what’s required and blend in with your way of life.
