Bluebird Care in the Community

Taking Wellbeing Seriously

Bluebird Care Exeter runs free wellbeing sessions across Devon for older adults experiencing social isolation and lonlilness. We have secured a minibus for 2020 to allow our team to go out on the road and reach more isolated people within the local communiy. The purchase of this dedicated vehicle will allow the team to take their vital services to the next level by helping those who may not be physically able to attend events.

Providing Support Throughout The Pandemic

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, our Outstanding team of Devon Bluebirds have continued to provide high-quality care and support to vulnerable people across Exeter and the surrounding area.

Frankie’s Bluebird Care Letter Scheme

When Hub Manager Frankie couldn’t visit her elderly grandmother during lockdown she posted her a card. When she realised how delighter the gesture made her Nanna, she decided to put a call out on social media asking others to send cards to lonely residents across the local area via the Bluebird Care Exmouth office. Cards flooded in, with cards being sent from as far away as Chile in South America, allowing the Bluebird Care team to deliver cards to socially isolated residents across the local area.
