5 Surprising Facts about Parkinson's Disease

In April we supported Parkinson's Awareness Week - an annual campaign run by Parkinson’s UK who are leading, influencing and funding research to ensure new and better treatments for the condition.
The aim of this campaign is to reach more people who are affected by Parkinson's and tell them about the charity’s work and the support that they offer.
We took the opportunity to write a blog discussing the lesser-known facts about Parkinson’s Disease. Check it out here

East Devon - Barbara Twamley

Barbara is new to care and has been the key worker for a complex care customer. We received lots of had praise and thanks from the customers Occupational Therapist and her Care Manager for Barbara’s patience and hard work with the customer. 

Barbara is always positive and happy and has proven to be an excellent Care Assistant

Exeter - Jade Davies

Jade Davies has been awarded Care Worker of the Month because she continually delivers outstanding care to her customers and goes above and beyond to ensure they always get the very best support.

Jade is excellent at using her initiative and proactively talks to the office team about any customer queries or concerns she may have.
