On the 7th April, Leigh Richardson our Head of Quality and Service Development hosted a Dementia Friends Awareness Session in Tiverton for a local residents group.
On the 7th April, Leigh Richardson our Head of Quality and Service Development hosted a Dementia Friends Awareness Session in Tiverton for a local residents group.
The session was a great success, with a lively discussion regarding the stigma surrounding Dementia, the key indicators to be look out for but most importantly how they would now go on to raise awareness of the disease in their community.

All attendees of yesterday’s session have now become Dementia Friends, making a promise to turn their understanding of Dementia into a practical action.
