Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden hosts Virtual Bake Off in aid of Alzheimer's Society Cupcake Day

We are very excited to host a Virtual Bake Off at Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden to support Alzheimer's Society's World Cupcake Day.

This week at Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden, for Cupcake Day we'll be hosting VIRTUAL BAKE OFF and we are all going to bake and share our creations, share and tag Alzheimer's Society to show how everyone is having fun and getting involved in support of World Cupcake Day; while raising funds to help support dementia research.

Here's the first batch - brownines from our senior care assistant Mandy

Our care assistant Tereza has been giving us an insight into Czech baking. Tereza explained that Cake in Czech is like birthday cake with a frosting on but most of the baked goods in the oven are called pie like those attached whether its fruit pie, meat pie they are all pie which she enjoys making in her spare time. Below she has Peach & Curd Cheese Pie, Chocolate Pie and Apple Strudel! Yummy!
