Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden is led by Neil Blatch. Neil started delivering homecare in Eastbourne & Wealden to help support customers in the area to receive homecare and support while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes. Delivering the highest quality of homecare and support is Neil’s absolute goal and the team would be delighted to hear from anyone who is seeking homecare for themselves or for a loved one, or would simply like to talk to someone about the services we provide.
Director/Owner and is in charge of marketing and finance as well as overseeing the smooth running of the business. Please speak to Neil for any help with invoices, marketing and business solutions.
Neil Blatch has an extensive business and management background within the IT industry. Neil holds professional qualifications in project management gained through 25 years of experience.
He has gained valuable experience setting up dedicated teams and ensuring good working relationships with customers and suppliers alike providing a quality delivery service to everyone using the service.
These skills are brought across and marry with the Bluebird Care ethos of quality, professionalism and excellent service to our customers delivered in the good old fashioned way with passion and a smile.
Valerie has many years experience in the home care sector and manages the operational side of the business, staff training, helping customers with local authorities and social workers, implementing new care packages and reviewing existing ones. Please speak to Valerie is you need to chat about an existing care package or a new one you need for yourself, a member of the family or a friend.
Sarah is currently completing her Level 5 in Leadership & Management, and has been working for Bluebird Care for over 10 years. Sarah works closely with Neil processing invoicing, and payroll. Maintaining the web roster system the rota’s are completed on, as well as producing weekly rota’s to be emailed out to our staff. Sarah is a trained trainer in Medication, Moving & Handling, Basic Life Support & Epilepsy. Sarah assists Valerie & Neil in the day to day running of the business. Sarah is the data protection officer and manages general data protection and processing. Sarah works with Valerie & Alice in interviewing new members of staff. Sarah liaises with the hospital, GP practices, residential homes and adult social care on a daily basis. Sarah arranges all our charity events as well as uploading event information to our social media.
Alice has been with the Bluebird Care Eastbourne & Wealden for 3 years, and is currently working towards her Level 3 in Leadership & Management. Alice is in charge of coordinating the live-in customers; she liaises with agencies and allocates live-in care assistants to customers under Valerie’s supervision to ensure the right match is found. As support coordinator Alice works with Sarah covering outstanding care calls, as well as working together on checking home care staff rota’s for coming weeks and Alice prepares visit sheets and invoicing for posting. Alice deals with the office administration and processing new recruits as well as general office enquiries. Alice works with Valerie & Sarah interviewing new members of staff, Alice then processes their DBS checks and starts to process their paperwork. Alice liaises with the hospital, GP practices, residential homes, and adult social care on a daily basis.
Shani works closely with registerd manager Valerie assessing new packages or care, completing supervisions on staff, monitoring, and updating the pass system to ensure it is full of live current information. When a next of kin is not present Shani assists support coordinator Alice in contacting a GP to reorder medication.
