Bluebird Care Croydon’s Jane gets national recognition for putting people first!

Every year, The Great British Care Awards showcase and highlight the fantastic work that homecare assistants carry out across the UK!

Held annually, the national award ceremony celebrates care work and gives credit to those who have displayed outstanding excellence in their field of work. The awards also aim to raise the profile of the care sector.

Jane Howard, a care assistant at Bluebird Care Croydon, was highly commended for her efforts in putting people first – particularly the elderly and vulnerable during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Judges from The Great British Care Awards said:

“We were particularly impressed by Jane’s selfless approach when caring for others. It was very touching to hear real life stories about dealing with people on a ‘good day and a bad day’ and what it takes to make a difference in a person’s life.”

Jane was awarded a Great British Care Award certificate in appreciation of her efforts to ‘put people first’.

To get to the national final she also won the London Regional Final.

Dean Slade, Director of Bluebird Care Croydon, commented:

“We are incredibly proud of Jane’s achievement! Her kind, caring nature and warm smile is uplifting for our customers. Thank you for everything you do! You are a credit to our Bluebird Care Croydon team!”
