Congratulations are in order for Carol who won Home Carer of the Year at the Great British Care Awards!
We are SO PROUD to announce that our very own Carol is the winner of this year's 'Home Care Worker Award' at the finals of the Great British Care Awards. Carol - simply WOW! This is a much deserved honour for Carol, and we hope you all join us in congratulating Carol, who looks absolutely stunning in the pictures below (and yes that is Ryland!)
Our Director Melvyn Plum wanted to share the following:
“Carol has been with Bluebird Care for over six years. She is a key member of our team, and has been supporting a young man with complex needs for over five years. She’s taken the time to gain a deep understanding of his care plan, and her commitment to delivering person centred care has had such a positive impact on his life.
“Her dedication and patience have been transformative in developing his personal and daily living skills. Carol has supported him through significant transitions in his life; school, recovering from brain surgery and the pandemic. Carol’s approach to care is not just about attending to the physical needs, but about truly seeing the person and recognising their unique story, their joys, struggles and aspirations.
“We at Bluebird Care Braintree and Uttlesford are eternally proud of and thankful for Carol's contributions, embodying the impactful and compassionate care we value. Her humility in receiving this recognition speaks volumes about Carol as a person.”
We were also finalists for the 'Home Care Team of the Year'. Whilst we didn't win this honour from the Great British Care Awards, you are undoubtedly our Home Care Team of the Year!
