Bluebird Care are celebrating their fantastic team of Care Assistants, and the difference they make across the Birmingham North communtiy every day.  As part of our National #MakeADifference Campaign, our Care Assistant Margaret has shared her story to show how she has made the decision to change her career and start training with Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant.

Margaret's Story
I decided after being in my last job for 12.5 years that it was time for a change, and I have always cared for famiily members, that when i noticed that there were Job opportunites that offered training with Bluebird Care, and that there was a new office opening in the Birmingham North area, that i took the plunge to start a new career journey.
I received training in the office from the day I started and eventually after a few weeks was introduced to customers shadowing my fellow colleagues and being fully supported from our Registered Manager, I was soon attending care calls to our cutomers to which I absolutely love.
I get so much satisfaction knowing I am involved in helping customers to live an easier life in the comfort of their own homes, assisting them with jobs they can no longer do for themselves and with me encouraging them to keep their independence where possible.
The Management team are always on hand to offer support and help and its great to feel part of the team as my colleagues are great to work with and always in contact with you if needed.
Bluebird Care Birmingham North are an excellent company to work for, they are extremely dedicated to the providing the best service to our customers.  They have provided me with everything I need to deliver the best service I can.  I feel a very valued member of the company and I would recommend anyone looking to start a career in Care to come join our team.
My life has changed a lot since working here, I am much happier in my life especially when the families of the customers I care for tell you how you have made a difference to their families lives.
