In February this year our care manager Yvonne Oxendale
In February this year our care manager Yvonne Oxendale had a very surprising phone call from our local radio station (Minster FM) to tell her that she had been nominated and indeed won the “Best boss” award of the year in the Local heroes annual event.
The carers had secretly nominated Yvonne and had to complete a questionnaire with reasons why they felt she deserved this award.
Bluebird Care were then interviewed and attended a formal award ceremony at the York Racecourse.
This was a complete surprise and very humbling.
