Charity Dance

We raise over £1,000 for charity

Nicola - the director of Bluebird Care and her husband Andy organised a charity dance evening to raise funds for York Against Cancer.

Almost 100 people attended the evening enjoying a Jive lesson before taking to the floor for an evening of dancing.  The event was held at Melodie Park in York.  

A raffle boosted funds as did the auction of signed photos provided by some of the stars of Strictly Come Dancing.  In all the event raised £1,002 which was given to York Against Cancer.  This comfortably beat the amount raised at the first charity dance of £725 which was held in March earlier this year.
