Bluebird Care Celebrate Big Move to New Office

Bluebird Care (Winchester, Eastleigh & Romsey) today celebrated its big move to its new headquarters at Wessex Business Park in Colden Common at an official opening party attended by over 70 guests, including the multi-award winning health care company’s customers, staff and esteemed guests from across the health care sector.

Bluebird Care has now trebled its operational size and is creating a further 50 new jobs throughout the Winchester, Eastleigh and Romsey communities and were delighted to have the MP for Eastleigh, Mims Davies and the Deputy Mayor of Winchester, Cllr David McLean to attend on the day to cut the ribbon and officially declare their new base open.
 
Bluebird Care’s operations are vastly growing across the Winchester and Eastleigh districts in both home and 24 hour live-in care. Romsey is particularly of note as this has shown the largest geographical growth within the company over the last few months. Bluebird Care have a wealth of new job opportunities for Care Assistants at all levels in the Romsey area and all its surrounding villages, as well as in their heartland areas of Winchester & Eastleigh.
 
Bluebird Care’s move comes just months after it was named in the top 1% of home care companies in the whole of the UK when it became the first & only care provider in Hampshire to be rated “Overall Outstanding” by industry regulator the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
 
Bluebird Care have gone from strength to strength in its four short years and are extremely proud to have notched up an impressive nine award wins – including “Service Excellence” at the 2015 Winchester Business Excellence awards and “Care Coordinator of the Year” at the National Finals of the Great British Care Awards.
 
Mims Davies, MP for Eastleigh, said: “Bluebird Care do a fantastic job caring and supporting those in need in our local community and it’s great to see a home care company making the headlines for the right reasons.

Claire Murphy, Owner & Director of Bluebird Care, said: “When we first started out in Winchester in 2012 we employed just three members of staff. We now employ over 120 people and we’re at a stage where we’ve out grown our original office!
 
“Moving to Colden Common not only triples our office space, it will also perfectly place us centrally to facilitate our operations throughout Winchester, Eastleigh and Romsey.”
