Meet the team
We bring to Bluebird Care our considerable public and private sector experiences from areas as diverse as Personnel Recruitment and Events Marketing to Venue Management.
We own and manage two Bluebird Care territories – Bluebird Care Watford and Three Rivers based in Rickmansworth and Bluebird Care Chiltern and Dacorum based in Hemel Hempstead.
I am so excited that I have been able to use my background in Recruitment to ensure that, through our rigorous selection and induction processes, we only employ Care Workers who are emotionally suited and professionally committed to this challenging role.
At Bluebird Care I know every day I am helping vulnerable people live happy and fulfilled lives in the safe and comforting surroundings of their own homes.
Registered Care Manager
I joined Bluebird Care around 5 years ago but have worked in the care industry for a number of years. I started as a care assistant and completed my NVQ 2 and 3 before being promoted to a supervisor at Bluebird Care. Before this I worked in the legal sector for over eight years.
It’s an industry I have a strong passion for, it’s as challenging as rewarding and one that I really do want to make a difference in. I strongly believe that everyone should be cared for in the way you would wish your own parents/grandparents to be.
I am a bubbly outgoing person who loves to laugh and make others laugh too. I am a mother to three children, have a very close knit family who i love spending time with. I am an avid sports fan whether it be football, cricket or athletics. I love to travel and am hoping to take a tour of southern Asia with my daughter in the coming year.
I have worked in care since the age of 18 and would not change my job, I have gained so much knowledge and experience since becoming a carer.
I have a level 3 Qualification in Dementia care, the qualification has helped me to ensure that i can help provide people living with dementia have the best quality of life.
I love listening to music and I love going swimming I enjoy gardening and love growing my own vegetables plus I have a dog and tropical fish.
I have worked in care for over 20 years having management experience in residential homes for the elderly and young adults with learning disabilities
I have great job satisfaction as what we do really makes a difference to people’s lives
I recently started working at Bluebird care and had the pleasure of becoming the coordinator. I previously worked in a local primary school for over 10 years and now that both my children are grown up, I decided I wanted to go into care work as this has been something I have been interested in for many years. I enjoy meeting new people and like to help and support others.
