Bluebird Care has a national network of over 200 franchises. Watford and Three Rivers has been trading since 2010 and has an excellent reputation as one of the leading care agencies in their area. Our sister franchise opened in 2012, Bluebird Care Chiltern and Dacorum has grown to become regarded as the preferred private Home Care agency in the area.

  • Live-in Care - full-time Companion Care in your home

Home care (also called domiciliary care) is support provided in your own home to help with daily living. It can range from a short daily visit to full-time live-in care.
Typical services include: Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting), Help with meals and hydration, Medication reminders or administration, Housekeeping (cleaning, laundry), Companionship and emotional support, Mobility assistance, Specialist care (e.g. for Dementia or Parkinson's disease) plus many more.
Home care is suitable for: Older adults needing support to stay independent, People recovering after illness or surgery, Individuals with disabilities or long-term conditions, Families needing respite care for a loved one, Individuals looking for companionship.
Visits are flexible: Short visits (e.g. 30 minutes), multiple visits per day, long day care, care for special occasions, overnight care and 24/7 live-in care.

Home care services are charged based on visit length and timing, with weekday rates ranging from £25.00 for 30 minutes to £35.70 for 60 minutes, increasing slightly on weekends and significantly on bank holidays. Sleep-in care is charged per night for non-waking support or hourly for waking care, with higher rates on weekends and bank holidays. As an alternative to residential care, live-in care is also available, providing continuous in-home support to help individuals maintain independence and remain in familiar surroundings. This ranges from £1600 per week upwards.
