Dignity Trafford

We are very proud to announce that we are one of the very first homecare providers to be awarded the Trafford Council ‘Dignity in Care Award’.

This week, we have been awarded the prestigious Trafford Council ‘Dignity in Care Award’ and are one of the very first homecare providers to be given the award. The award, held for the next 12 months, recognises a quality service and is clear evidence that the organisation is striving to provide the best possible health and social care service to Trafford residents.

This recognition by Trafford Council follows robust inspection independently verified by specially-trained impartial Citizen Assessors and health & social care professionals, through quality assurance reports with customers, and an onsite visit.

Our owner Ian Helsby said:

We are really proud to receive this prestigious award from Trafford Council. Our excellent team here led by our care manager Angela Withington treats every customer as though they are members of our own families. Dignity in Care is something that Bluebird Care is totally committed to, as there is significant evidence that care organisations where dignity in care is embedded, are better able to safeguard their customers.

This independently-assessed feedback from our customers is particularly pleasing, as our customers are the best judges of whether they experience true dignity and respect. And from us they clearly do.”

We are scheduled to officially receive the award at the forthcoming Council-led Dignity Action Day in Trafford, held at the Pathways Training Suite, Torbay Road Urmston from 10.00am until 5.00pm on Friday February, which is open to the public.

This is a Trafford celebration and exhibition of all that is best in care locally with a wide range of exhibitors attending and aims to remind society that everyone has a role to play in respecting the dignity of the local community.
