When our Live-In Care Assistant Helena, answered her phone just one week ago, she had no idea that she would be offered the chance to potentially save a life.

Having tested positive for COVID-19 almost a year ago, Helena was asked to donate her plasma containing potentially lifesaving antibodies.

Without any hesitation, Helena booked her appointment and is due to have her plasma tested in early February.

We are proud, that all our Care-Assistants are committed to keeping each other, our customers, and the wider community safe, which is why Helena’s immediate, ‘Yes’, really affirms her personal commitment to protecting others.
