Our Community Grant Scheme has been extremely effective since its launch in 2016 and we have donated over £17,000 to some very worthy causes and will be continuing into 2020!

Our Community Grant Scheme has been extremely effective since its launch in 2016 and we have donated over £17,000 to some very worthy causes and will be continuing into 2020!
In 2019 our grant has supported Age UK Tunbridge Wells; who used the funds to launch a new group at Dowding House Day Centre in Paddock Wood and Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust for an event they held during Dementia Action Week in May along with Hadlow Parish Council, who used the grant for their community breakfasts!
We are very grateful to Bluebird Care for its generous support, which will provide new opportunities to help isolated people to make new friends and access the care and support they require.

As we strive to continue supporting our local community in every way that we can, our Community Grant Scheme remains an extremely important initative for us. It is something that we are proud of and we feel it extremely important to continue the scheme into 2020.
Our 2020 Community Grant Scheme consists of three grants of £250 with the first to be presented in April 2020. Applications are now open with a deadline of 17th February.
I would like to thank Bluebird Care Tonbridge & Tunbridge Wells for this grant, which will be a big help in funding our event in May.

The criteria for applications remains the same, however we will now be compiling a short video at each presentation to be used on social media and raise awareness of the valuable work of our local community organisations.
- Be based (and support people) in Gravesham or Dartford
- Primarily support those aged 60+
- Not use the grant as part of a round of funding
