Sue

Personal Assistant

Sue is at the heartbeat of our Bluebird Care Family

Her exceptionally strong administration background ensures she provides valuable support to the central team and helps free up time in order that our local teams can give a sustained focus to our customers and Care Assistants.

Sue is never without a smile and a caring hand to help anybody, whatever their needs.

Liz

Live In Care Manager

Liz has worked in healthcare for 15 years, starting her career working as a community carer in  Kent, then worked in a care home supporting adults with mental health  before joining the Bluebird Care team.

The reason Liz chose to work in healthcare is that she enjoys making a difference to peoples lives.

Having worked in a managerial role with Bluebird Care for four years and completed a level five qualification in Health and social care, Liz brings a wealth of experience to the role of Live in Care Manager.

Liz works closely with the office team in supporting our live in staff and customers and visits our live in care staff weekly to provide support.

Also being passionate about providing our customers with an extremely high quality of support, Liz is extremely dedicated to her role and enabling our customers to remain at home for as long as possible.

Nicola

Area Supervisor

Working within care is a heartfelt passion for Nicola, who joined the team at Bluebird Care as a Care Assistant before progessing into the role of Care Supervisor. After which she successfuly lead our in house training programme for a number of years prior to moving into her current role as Area Supervisor. 

Previously working as a Medical Research Supervisor for over 10 years, Nicola chose to work in care because she had a family member who needed care support in their later life and wanted to give something back.

She holds an NVQ level 3 in Health & Social Care along with holding a train the trainer qualification specifically in medication and moving & handling courses.

One tip that Nicola has for those starting their career in care is to never be afraid to ask questions as the team is always there to help in any way possible.

Maria

Finance Officer

Maria works closely with our Finance Manager, ensuring the day to day operations of the finance department run smoothly.

Always on hand with a smile and an offer of help and support for the whole team.

Maria enjoys her spare time with her family, especially her four-legged family member who she enjoys lots of long walks with.

Rachel

Recruitment Manager

Rachel joined the Bluebird Care team as an apprentice and has stood out in her approach to her role, having achieved 100% in her apprenticeship.

Her apprenticeship was in Business Administration and gave her exposure to how a business and office functions.

After completing her apprenticeship, Rachel was promoted to the position of Recruitment Manager and now looks after the process of speaking to new candidates to arrange interviews along with the day to day running of our overseas recruitment.

Rachel enjoys her role because it gives her the opportunity to speak with many different people and help them start or progress their career in the right role.

In her spare time, Rachel can be found spending time with her friends and enjoying some retail therapy!

Ellie

Recruitment Apprentice

Ellie joined us to continue her journey in Recruitment, benefiting from the experience and knowledge of Rachel our Recruitment Manager.  She is very passionate about helping people to find a career that really suits them and takes a lot of pride in benefiting local communities that need our support, by supplying them with quality care workers.

Outside of work Ellie loves nothing more than getting into her overalls and tinkering with cars! Having modified her own car, there is not much she doesn’t know about cars and how to fix them.  She says “It’s great to have a hobby that saves me a lot of money in garage repair fees”.
