NHS Big Tea Event 9th July 2021

On the 5th July 2021 it is the NHS birthday, to celebrate "Big Tea" events are being hosted across the country around that time to raise money for NHS Charities Together. We have chosen to host a Big Tea event on Friday 9th July 2021 to raise funds for our local hospital trust charity "SWFT" (South Warwickshire Foundation Trust)

SWFT Charity raise vital funds to "Sprinkle Extra Magic" an ethos that sits very well with us here at Bluebird Care Stratford & Warwick! One example of the extra support they provide from the funds they raise was the purchase of 8 State of the Art Falls Prevention beds. As we know at Bluebird Care Stratford & Warwick, falls are the leading cause of death in people over 75. We have our very own Falls Prevention Risk assessment process that supports our Customers to identify risks of falls occurring and a plan to reduce the risks, this is certainly a charity we support!

We always strive to provide our customers with exceptional care in their own homes, unfortunately there are some times when care in hospital is needed and SWFT charity can help a stay in hospital be just that bit easier, safer and more comfortable.

Of course, we have all lived through the Covid 19 pandemic too and this event will help recognise the hard work and dedication the NHS has shown throughout and enable them to continue their great work beyond.

We will be hosting a covid safe tea party in our office for staff only but of course we have made sure our customers get to join in too! For a donation to the charity our Bluebird Care Stratford & Warwick team will be out across Warwickshire delivering cakes and treats to our customers!
