With heating bills on the rise, think WARMTH to stay WARM this winter

As the leading homecare provider in Solihull and Birmingham, making sure our customers are keeping themselves in the best possible health is important to us.

With the rise in cost of living, in particular heating cists, we are conscious many of our customers will start to limit the amount of time they have the heating on. As a result, we're urging the elderly and their loved ones to think WARMTH to help save lives.

As the weather starts to get colder, we are sending out a strong message that cold weather is extremely serious and potentially life threatening and are urging people to prepare for the winter with some simple steps to stay warm and safe.

Bluebird Care Solihull and Birmingham West are really pleased to have launched our Winter Warmth campaign in line with Bluebird Care nationally, which is aimed at promoting the acronym WARMTH and providing signposting to groups in the community that can help older or vulnerable people stay well this winter.

Director of Bluebird Care Solihull and Birmingham West, Indy Goraya, was quoted as saying:

As the leading homecare provider across Solihull and Birmingham, we are always aware of the concerns our customers have. With the national cost of living crisis, and increase in heating costs, many of our customers are trying to save on costs by reducing their heating usage. However, for such a vulnerable group of the population, this could have serious health implications. As such we are urging the people of Solihull and Birmingham to make sure that they keep in regular contact with their loved ones, neighbours and friends to ensure they are safe this winter. Our Winter WARMTH campaign is designed to push home some simple messages to ensure the vulnerable amongst us are safe and warm in their homes.
