Beautiful poem from one of our amazing customers. So proud that our team have impacted her life is such a way

I watched the Winter rain sweeping the grey skies,

Empty of life and devoid of any other colour,

Soul-less, cold and frowning leaden curtains on mid-Winters’ drab,

Cold Theatre, Waiting, Watching for the first bright clear of Spring,

The green, any shade of Emerald, the softening gleam of palest sunlight,

Turning the froze hollows in the hill where ice had stopped the stream,

back to the dazzling bright of river running and brook bubbling,

Watching the yellow sunset glinting candlelight snowdrops, aconite and Easter Roses, Purple Crocus and first green leaves,

Tall trees in wedding brightness overseen with a beauty dazzling the eye warming the spirit and,

Minute by minute, almost unseen, drawing back the dark curtain of Winter,

Melting the last dark ice, warm sun on my face, Spring, sparkling like Diamonds

and smiling her hope to the closed windows of dead light winter

I watched the little river sparking, breather in the scent of waking garden, leave and flowers making a perfume that overwhelmed the senses with a tide of green and sunlit joy

And I wanted some of the brightness for myself, Not feeling self-seeking sunlight,

I waited

and as the trees and leaves, hedgerows, petals, primroses and forget-me-nots shone in a dance of beauty and purity and hope,

a blue bird flew in the tree-tops, singing the song of spring

Your help has shone out very much like this, lovely Bluebird ladies,

Listening and care, and I am grateful, in my heart
