Celebrating 1st Anniversary of Dementia Friends Wales

Ray Morrison, Owner & Director of Bluebird Care Newport & South Monmouthshire was amongst those attending a reception for Dementia Friends Champions at The Pierhead in Cardiff today.

Ray was thrilled to join other Dementia Friends Champions and supporters of Alzheimers Society Wales today at en event celebrating the first anniversary of the Dementia Friends Wales initiative.
The National Assembly for Wales announced its ambition to become a dementia-friendly organisation, supporting the 45,000 people living with dementia in Wales.
We share the same ambition here at Bluebird Care and ensure all of our staff attend Dementia Friend Information Sessions.
Enabling all of our Home Care Assistants to provide the right kind of support to customers and their families who are living with dementia.
