Dementia Friends
Dementia Friends is an Alzheimer's Society initiative aimed at changing people's perception of Dementia by transforming the way we think, act and talk about the condition.
What is a Dementia Friend?
A Dementia Friend is somebody that learns about dementia so that they can help and support their community.
Dementia Friends help raise awareness and understanding and can help people living with dementia by pledging to take actions that can be big or small.

Our Director Ray Morrison is a Dementia Friends Champion and has made over 3,000 Dementia Friends working with schools, colleges and other organisations in our local community.
The whole team at Bluebird Care Newport is actively involved in helping to create a Dementia Friendly Community in Newport.
