Friday 13th August 2021. Stella shared her journey so far with Bluebird Care Milton Keynes and why she is proud to have chosen a career in care...

"I love my job, I couldn't see myself doing anything else. I always knew I wanted to help people, make them laugh and be part of their lives. I started in a care home in 2011 and it didn't feel right, it was very institutionalised and not person centred. I left to work for another company who were not good at all. I then found domiciliary and I have never looked back. Bluebird Care is great, don't get me wrong it can be stressful, it's not all making tea and putting people to bed but I am devoted to my job 1000%. I get to see new people every day, I get to hear about their lives and what they have done, it's an absolute pleasure to just be with them."
