David Howard founded Bluebird Care in 2011 after his sister experienced a catastrophic accident that left her quadriplegic. Witnessing first-hand the vital role care plays in the well-being of vulnerable individuals and, recognising significant inconsistencies in the quality of care provision, he was determined to establish a care company that prioritised high-quality, personalised support. However, providing high-quality care goes beyond a slogan—it requires recruiting the best carers, delivering exceptional training, and embracing an ethos of continuous improvement.

David has been successfully running Bluebird Care in Milton Keynes for 13 fulfilling years, and in 2019, his daughter Catherine joined him. Together, they have expanded the business, grown the team, and taken on the franchise for Northampton and Daventry, all while staying true to their core values and commitment to delivering premium home care services. Care is never easy, and every day brings new challenges, but it is also incredibly rewarding and they wouldn't change it for the world.
