Bluebird Care Merton is supporting this year’s Nutrition & Hydration Week which runs from 16th – 22nd March 2020.

Bluebird Care Merton is hoping to raise awareness of good nutrition and hydration and promote the importance of maintaining healthy eating within the local area. Nutrition & Hydration Week aims to highlight and promote nutrition and hydration locally, nationally and even globally.

As part of this awareness week Nutricia, an organisation who offer advice on advanced medical nutrition, have put together a fact sheet highlighting what a healthy diet entails and tips to improve nutrition. Some of these tips include having plenty of starchy foods, along with fruit and vegetables as well as focusing on foods that are a good energy source. If you would like to find out more, you can visit the Bluebird Care Merton website at www.bluebirdcare.co.uk/merton

Jay Patel, Managing Director at Bluebird Care Merton, said:

“Nutrition and hydration are very important issues in society and as a care provider, it is important that we do all we can to support and educate our community on these issues. We encourage everyone to visit our website and download the factsheet which contains key advice on nutrition.”
